LeBron’s Time in Cleveland Comes to Firey End

The images of LBJ jerseys being set ablaze pretty much says it all for Cleveland. I feel horrible for the city and those fans. 7years of an organization being completely built around the hometown savior now seem like such a waste of time. The heart and soul of the franchise & city is heading to the beach. Attendance is going to plummet and rightfully so. The outlook doesn’t look very bright at all for the Cavs.

I suppose the bright side is that the LeBron drama is over for at least a while. On second thought, let me take that back…The talk about LeBron to Miami will continue for at least another month.

James, Wade & Bosh. Barring injury Miami will be the 2011champs. I don’t care who the supporting cast is. Hell, Pat Riley can even sign me up to be the 12th man on that squad. It doesn’t matter. They will find perfectly capable role players to surround their core of superstars. Sure there is only one ball but these guys can handle sharing the spotlight. If they couldn’t then they wouldn’t have taken less money to form the South Beach Super team. I’m not a big fan of LeBron’s decision but it does put him in a situation to get not just one ring but several.
